At a glance
A private-label research peptide project needs an approved product list, brand assets, label dimensions, fixed copy and a plan for variable batch fields. Confirm the proof, sample scope, printing and application before release. Treat artwork approval and batch-document verification as separate checks within the same order.
| Layer | Fields to confirm | Approval checkpoint |
|---|---|---|
| Brand artwork | Logo, colours, typography, label dimensions. | Approve the design and actual-size proof. |
| Product copy | Product name, SKU, format and agreed research-use wording. | Compare the text with the selected catalogue item. |
| Variable data | Batch reference, dates or other agreed order fields. | Confirm the data source for each printed field. |
| QR destination | An agreed public page or batch-record destination. | Test the actual printed code and intended access. |
| Application and packing | Label placement, carton grouping and requested photos. | Approve the sample scope and packing instructions. |
Prepare the files and product copy
Send the logo and usable brand files together with the product list. Identify the label surface and dimensions if you already have a packaging specification. If dimensions are not confirmed, say so before requesting a final print file.
- One row of approved copy for each SKU and format.
- A clear distinction between fixed text and variable fields.
- Destination and required wording for review.
- The person responsible for approving the final proof.
Review a proof at the intended size
Check spelling, SKU, format, text hierarchy and the space reserved for variable data. A large screen preview can hide legibility problems on a small label. Ask how the agreed sample will be reviewed before printing and application.
For a QR code, confirm the destination and test the code as it will be used. Keep order access credentials out of public artwork. If the destination is a batch record, confirm its intended publication and batch association before approving the code.
Keep one approved revision for production
Give the accepted artwork a clear revision reference. If product copy, batch fields or packaging instructions change after approval, confirm the revised file and any schedule change before production continues.
BatchTide coordinates artwork approval, proofing, printing, vial application and agreed batch or QR fields for confirmed orders. Minimum quantities, timing and the scope of samples or photos are confirmed in the quotation. Label work does not replace the review of product identity and batch documents.
Questions before you enquire
Can one label design be reused across multiple SKUs?
A shared layout can support multiple SKUs, but the product copy, format and variable fields must be checked for each item. Supply an itemized copy sheet to reduce version mistakes.
Is a website product image the final label proof?
No. Website presentation imagery illustrates the catalogue. Approve the actual artwork version and agreed sample for your order before printing.
A brief you can use
Use these headings to organize your request, then add the information you have to the enquiry page.
